My first time here. Ordered the corned beef hash. I took a bite and it is so good I had to snap a picture for posting this review. Seasoned just right. There are some bites with a little crunch, good texture. Potatoes are finely diced. Appropriate portion leaving me feeling satisfied but not overly full. Service is excellent! I will come back. Wonderful brunch. Thank you!

Great fried chicken 🍗 stewed tomatoes 🍅 mac & cheese. Breakfast 🥞 nice as well. Gluten free options.

If you want good, hearty, flavorful food cooked with care, then this is the place for you. All of their meals are amazing but their breakfast is in a class by itself. Reminds me of breakfast at my grandmothers house. I had the steak omelette. It was very filling with lots of meat.

I enjoy coming into Tom & Rays on Fridays and having great conversations at the bar with Abby, Cindi and the other ladies that work there, as well as meeting other patrons. Despite living in Clarksburg, this has become a staple for a great breakfast and a casual atmosphere to break the remote work environment. LOVE their bacon egg and cheese bagels.

My sister introduced me to this place earlier this year and I have gone multiple times on Sunday’s. Every time I come here, my family and I always feel welcomed. The owner always goes around checking on everyone and the servers are kind and attentive. Food is great as well, I love their chicken tenders, sandwiches, and omelets. For sweets their pancakes are huge and very filling.

For our last two visits, we decided to let go of our carnivore appetite and dive into the sea. We had the most amazing fried fish. The catfish was to die for. From the cold Arctic waters and into the deep fryer, the cod fish kept its sweet flavor and flakiness. They were both unbelievable. Thank you Ms. Tracy, Mr. Bernie, Mr. Gary and staff. * * * * It has been 5 months since we first visited Tom and Ray’s and the love affair still continues. Thanks to Mr. Bernie, Ms. Tracie and their staff, we are always excited to drive the 1 hour (one-way) to their restaurant for our Friday night destination. Upon arrival to the restaurant our eyes immediately go to the Specials Board to see what delicious entrees and tantalizing desserts are being offered. If we don’t tell the waitperson what we want for dessert before ordering our entree, usually our choice is wiped off the board - meaning “gone, better luck next time”. Hence, we learned our lesson and order dessert first now. When you see the dessert menu, you can kiss your diet goodbye. The pandemic and Ms. Tracie’s desserts are not helping our waistline. Sorry doc. * * * * Damascus, you domesticated me today with your hospitality. We were driving in the general area when suddenly hunger hit us. Fortunately we found this hidden gem. We were given crispy potato chips with Old Bay seasoning while we waited for our food. They were crispy and delicious. For our starter, we ordered the spicy summer sausage soup. At first sip, my tastebuds exploded. The broth, vegetables and bits of sausages brought me back to the time of the Tang Dynasty, when the fireworks were created. The spices added to the soup enhanced the flavor of the soup but were not overwhelming. I never pass up meatloaf or fried chicken when offered by a restaurant. They also had another favorite of mine, Chef’s Salad. Our side dishes were mash potatoes, green beans, mac & cheese and Sky’s fries. Let’s talk about the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. I

I travel from DE, my friend travels from WV & we meet at Tom & Ray's every 8 weeks for breakfast. The breakfast is great, but I'd love to see stuffed French toast on the menu. The staff is super friendly and the lunch is pretty good too. Give it a go you won't be disappointed and if you like PB pie... its super rich and creamy..oh yeah.

Cute little dinner. Kind and caring staff. Been here lots of time, has never disappointed. My favorite is the open face hot turkey plate, with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberrie sauce. Sooooo tasty!!!

People are so warm, welcoming, and attentive, providing exceptional customer service. We were especially fortunate to have Miss Heather, who gave us the most outstanding service we've ever experienced. Coming from Texas and traveling here to explore new places, I truly appreciate that we chose this spot for breakfast. The food and prices were wonderful, and I absolutely love this place!

Everything is so fresh and PERFECTLY cooked! The staff are friendly and happy to be there. I wish I lived next door to this place. I'd never cook again. They went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles! Everything was amazing, but that dish was my family's favorite! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 We were so pleased, we asked to meet the cook, Claudia, for whom we gave a standing ovation.
